tastes great but the lids are a problemDec 23, 2008
By Joycedevivre Each can has 10 dolmas in them so you're looking at 60 dolmas for under 20 dollars. They're delicious if you like the tangy kind of dolma. This doesn't contain any kind of fruit - just rice and a very lemony flavor and are in olive oil. The only complaint is that these have pull tops and 3 of the 6 cans' tabs broke so we had to use a can opener - so if you're planning on bringing these on an outing make sure you bring an opener just in case.

Just Plain AWESOME!Apr 21, 2010
By Eric Y. Reynolds OMG! All the review here were right. I'm originally from the Tarpon Springs, FL (Greek Capital) and had 2 greek brother-in-laws(I'm not Greek btw). Their mothers used to make these homemade for me and it was love at fist bite. I've been looking for a sorce for these and I've found it. To make these is very time consuming. Trust me, I used to watch them do it. Very few grocery stores carry these. Usually in the help yourself deli area @ 8.00/lb. I tried some and they were pretty good. But, these are much better and less price. Also, there in cans and I can open one up anytime. The sauce is perfect, which is the key to making these taste good. I do like mine cold, so I pop a can or two in the ref. for a couple of hours before opening. They are the perfect appetizer. Great with martini's;-),,,, Make your own happy hour. There really good with triscuits. Don't waste the juice(again DON'T drain the JUICE),,,use the crackers to soak every drop up. Yum. Glad I bought 2 packs of 6 as I know I will go thru them pretty quick. Don't hessitate to get these. I'm getting hungry just writing this review. ENJOY! Cheers!

Great productOct 27, 2007
By Mark T. Tassa Delicious grape leaves make a great meal or late snack. Just the right amount of "juice" to make this product very tasty. Makes a great gift too.

REALLY DELICIOUS!Jun 11, 2010
By Sparkle These are perfectly addicting! Better than most restaurants. They are just the right balance of flavors - Not too bitter; not too sour. Though they are vegetarian, they have a kind of "meaty" oomph to them. I just ordered 12 more cans for an upcoming party and I'll definitely be keeping these on-hand for last minute get togethers.

I tried a lot of different brands of Stuffed Grape Leaves and Alwadi is by far the best among them. Note that this is a vegan product.
