This scrub is a wonderful exfoliant, it is the closest replacement to Rachel Perry that i have tried, not as gritty as apricot scrub by st. Ives but its just gritty enough to clean your face and not strip it raw like the micro dermabrasion sea kelp scrub from rachel perry. Not a strong smell and it washes off leaving your face tight and clean.

This scrub would feel like washing with coarse sugar, without being sticky -- about that kind of a consistency. It is a consistency that I have been looking for! It's perfect for me! Add a very mild, botanical fragrance, not strong or at all lingering. I come out smiling every time! I feel like my skin is being treated to a healthy, gentle cleaning that doesn't take my hide off. The other reason I appreciate Alba is that it is cruelty free and doesn't contain dangerous chemicals that get into my system. Amazon's price is excellent.

This product caused me to break out. The scrub thoroughly cleans, but it seems to leave a residue. It also has a strong fragrance. It smelled nice, but I don't like fragrance in my facial products. I don't need anything extra to cause irritation and breakouts. If you don't breakout easily, and you are looking for a product that's pretty abrasive then this may be for you.

Leaves skin soft and smooth. Doesn't dry out skin. You can feel the organic ingredients by how it leaves your skin. I highly recommend this item. Gentle, yet effective. Smells great!
