I love carob, so I had to try this carob molasses. I was surprised by the flavor, which is nothing like carob powder. In this much more concentrated form, the carob takes on a coffee-like flavor. It still tastes sweet, but the flavor is very intense. It reminds me a bit of blackstrap molasses, too.
I think this will be great in homemade ice creams or in baking. It might even work well on meats.
Other reviewers have mentioned damaged jars or lids, but my three jars arrived intact with no leaks.
My only complaint is the expiration date. Mine are only good for a few months, and since these only come in packs of three, I am stuck with a whole lot of carob molasses and not a lot of time. Then again, maybe carob molasses simply does not last that long & there is no way around that issue.
A suggestion for Amazon is to note the expiration dates of current stock, although I bet that would be a logistical nightmare.
I may give some to friends.

Israeli and Iraqi date syrups are the best in the world but this one is very good. Beware of other Lebanese date syrups as some of them are pretty nasty. Alwadi is a reliable brand.

This molasses can be used in baked goods as a sugar or honey substitute, or in any number of ways, such as drizzled over ice cream, pancakes or fresh fruit. The flavor is sweet, with nice hints of chocolate and coffee. All of my jars arrived in perfect shape (and I'm sure Amazon would replace them upon request if any had leaked).

These molasses like most Alwadi products are wonderful. Get a jar of the molasses and a jar of Alwadi tahini. Mix 1/3 molasses to 2/3 tahini, drizzle on your toast and enjoy as a wonderful breakfast or a great healthy snack. yummmmyyy
