5Delicious, quick and no saturated fatMay 24, 2010
By Parth Vasa
I have switched to a low fat diet (all kinds of fat). I get 1 eating right broccoli slaw package canola oilin my scanpan garlic ginger paste , onions (optional), pour in the contents broccoli, cabbage, carrots or similar (loads of veggies to choose),
then oyster sauce and low sodium soy sauce, a teaspoon of each per 2 cups of veggies, stir fry for 10 minutes max and voila Chinese veggies. Drop a few drops of rice wine vinegar and pull the noodles out of the micowave (7minutes on high in my Fastapasta) and Dinner for 2 or 2 nites!!!! Sriracha sauce optional. All done in 15 minutes 0000 saturated fat and delicous.

5Took my Asian dishes to a new levelOct 11, 2009

These noodles are the real thing. They taste exactly like the Asian noodles you get at a Chinese food place. The best part is that they are healthy! They have no trans fat and barely any regular fat. Try these with a bunch of veggies and some stir-fry sauce on top for a delicious and quick dinner that is good for you. These are also a great value if you order them on Amazon with the subscribe and save.

5Chow Mein Noodles, 6 12-oz boxesNov 10, 2011
By Abby
First: I know this is in the item name, but since people will still get confused - you are buying a cardboard box containing 6 noodle packages, each the size of a normal spaghetti box you might find at the grocery store. Don't subscribe/order multiple until you realize just how much that is!

I bought these as a college student that does all of my own food prep. I wanted a new Asian-esque grain, since I was tired of just rice and rice noodles. These are pretty good. Uncooked, they've got a rectangular cross-section, unlike the round spaghetti we tend to buy. Cooked, they come out round and look kind of like whole wheat spaghetti. They've got a somewhat bitter flavor, naturally, thought it's not unpleasant.
For dinner, I'll stir-fry these with veggies and meat, much like you'd make fried rice or really any other dish where you put meat and vegetables and pre-cooked grains in a pain and add heat. For lunch I'll generally just stir-fry the noodles with my seasonings, since it's so fast. After your water's boiling, these are done in 4-5 min. You could also cook a batch of noodles ahead of time and refrigerate them until you need them, though I've never bothered.

Servings per container says 6, and I get that or more from each box. It's a good buy, they last well, and you'll even get a nice little cardboard box to keep all the extras in.

5Excellent productMar 28, 2011
By Asian Amazon
Annie Chun's Chow Mein Noodles are excellent. I was pleasantly surprised when it took less than 5 minutes for the noodles to soften in boiling water (I had cooked for 3). I have used these noodles in soup and dry dishes. They taste very good and have a nice, firm texture in both. Good quality chow mein noodles can be hard to find, so I am happy I found these on Amazon and ordered them with Subscribe & Save.

5Go To Noodle for Stir-FryJan 27, 2011
By Sean S.
I received these in the mail recently and tried them out last night based on others reviews. I was very pleased with the texture, taste, size (length and width) and quality of the noodle. I can't wait to use them again.
