Annie Chun comes through with the perfect lunch. Easy to pack, eat, and dispose of as the eco-friendly bamboo bowl will fully break down. And it is delicious as is or you can add your own meat and/or veg. Awesome!

too sweetMar 03, 2010
By Gregory L. Mclerran I like Kung Pao but this Kung Pao was far too sweet. Like most producers of food for the American market,Annie Chun felt it necessary to add a sweetener (evaporated cane juice). For my taste, sweeteners are for desserts. I would have rated it higher, had it not been too sweet.

Very Tasty and Filling.Feb 13, 2010
By CorpsePenis So I purchased these on a whim. They are very quick to prepare(under 2 minutes). This makes it a perfect quick, filling meal. These have a good amount of weight to them. The noodles are thick and flavorful. The sauce is very tasty as well. Little bit of a tang, slightly hot, but very flavorful. The crushed peanuts included is a nice touch and definitely make it more filling... Also worth noting is, you do not need a microwave to make these. It sure does make things easier, but you can prepare the noodles with just hot water as well by covering and letting sit for a few.
Overall very satisfied, it tasted much better than the 2 minutes of preparation would have me expect. I see myself purchasing more of these and trying other Annie Chun foods. I recommend these.

quick, easy lunchNov 13, 2009

It's quick and easy to prepare and tastes good without too much saltiness. I like to microwave it 2 min and then stir the noodle and then another 2 min. That seems to cook the noodle softer. I like the hint of spiciness and peanut topping. Although I'm not a big fan of other Annie Chun's noodle bowls, I recommend this and would certainly buy this again.
