I wanted to try these peanut noodles because it sounded like they might be easier to make then the other boxed kind we've been using. Initially I was a bit disappointed because it advised to pour in 1 cup water into noodes and dry mix, microwave 90 seconds, then drain off excess water, then add peanuts and sauce. I didn't like having to pour off water, too messy and potential for me to burn myself. But after a couple rounds I am able to improve procedure (for me, anyway) and instead I do this: place noodes and dry mix into bowl (I cut up the noodles to fit into bowl better, optional!); pour in some water from the hot pot, I'm guessing approximately 1/4 cup, microwave 1 minute, stir, add sauce and peanuts, microwave 30 seconds. Same or better results as Chun's own directions, but no messy pour-off of boiling water involved.

These noodles are great. You put the chopped peanuts and sauce on the cooked noodles and vegetables, so everything is the right texture - no soggy noodles, no soggy peanuts. Great for lunch.

I have tried many microwavable noodle dishes. This one is superior. Annie Chun makes a great product. If you are going to do microwavable food for lunch, then you should be eating her products. The noodle bowl contains a seasoning mix that's liquid instead of powder, to give better flavor and a superior product. Also, the bowl is made of compostable materials so you don't have to feel guilty about throwing it in the trash on the go.

This one reminds me of the Cold Sesame Noodles I used to get in Boston. So quick and easy! A healthy lunch or dinner for this vegan.

If you are tired of having peanut butter sandwiches for lunch every day, try one of these Annie Chun's Peanut Sesame Noodle Bowls. It is delicious and better yet, vegetarian. The noodles are pre-cooked just right, not too soft, not too hard, topped with chopped peanuts and a tangy peanut sauce, just the way I like it. However, the dried veggie flakes are just "decorative" and I didn't see any sesame seeds. Annie Chun surely knows how to cook. She has got another winner.
