I don't actually eat the macaroni and cheese in our house. The kids do. In an effort to improve the quality of life for all, I've been gradually switching us over to natural, organic, and whole grain products. Macaroni and cheese finally got my attention. We've tried other brands, but the kids really say this is the best and is far better than the Kraft. What else can I say? I don't feel as guilty, they still get what they want. Life is good.

I have a son who is very particular about his food. There are never any complaints about Annie's Classic Mac&Cheese!! I also have a 13 yr old nephew who wont touch anything other than "thee" national brand, except for when it comes to Annie's Classic M&C. He loves it and even asks for it when he visits. I really like the fact that it does NOT call for butter. Just combine milk with the provided cheese packet and that's it!! This has been a real winner in our home and we make sure to always have some on hand by purchasing it in bulk on autoship!

This mac and cheese is a great product, all organic and real food used in it's making...the cheese sauce is to be made separately by mixing the powder with milk or cream while the mac cooks, so it is a bit different from the standard dry-box mac and cheese. This may seem tougher by one step than you are used to, but it is really just a matter of dumping the powder in with the liquid and stirring. This allows the cheese sauce to be made quickly, no cheese lumps, and no added butter or margerine...tastes great!

For a boxed mac and cheese, this is pretty healthy. It doesn't taste quite as cheesy as Kraft's mac & cheese, but it's still good. To up the cheese flavor I don't add the milk to it, just the butter and the cheese powder. I usually leave a bit of the pasta water in it so that there will be enough liquid to make it creamy. My children love it and I don't feel too bad about letting them eat once in a while because it is organic and doesn't contain artificial ingredients or preservatives.

This is the best powdered cheese macaroni I've found. I always add 1 tbsp of unsalted butter to it. I used to buy it at WalMart but they stopped carrying it and it's $3/box at my local grocery store so this is a pretty good deal on Amazon.
