Good Stuff!Apr 03, 2007
By M. Aherne My family loves this pasta for a quick meal. My son LOVES pasta and I love knowing that it is made of whole wheat. I throw in fresh cooked asparigus or broccoli and skip the guilt on knowing I didn't have to slave in the kitchen for long. Good healthy food is important to me. I just love having the option of something conveniant and fast to make once in a while. My only complaint is - can't we skip the media junk? That does not make me want to buy it more or make my son desire it more either. Please Annie, leave the D.W. out and give me a regular pasta shape!

Easy, delicious and naturalApr 20, 2008
By HappyHealth Annie's products are generally very good and DW Whole Wheat Pasta & Alfredo is no exception. It's just as quick and easy as the mac n' cheese we all grew up with, but without all the nasty artificial ingredients. It's wholesome enough to feed to the kids and grown-up enough for adults too. This is one of my husband's favorite quick meals.
Note: The sauce mix can be a little clumpy. Use a wire to whisk the sauce prior to adding the pasta. This will ensure it turns our creamy and smooth. Enjoy!

Healthy and the kids love itDec 14, 2008
By Thomas E. Palmer This is a great deal. Kids love DW Pasta and it's actually pretty healthy for them. A lot of grocery stores don't carry this or if they do, the price is ridculously high. Try this out!
Healthy Yes, Tasty well...Aug 14, 2010
By Benjamin This has whole wheat pasta and is very healthy because of this. There's nothing wrong with the pasta itself, it tastes fine (though I would prefer whole wheat regular macaroni pasta). It is the Alfredo sauce that has the problem here. The Alfredo sauce is pretty lackluster. The sauce is made from cream and salt, and that's exactly what it tastes like. They seriously need to improve the sauce taste so it actually tastes like Alfredo. Instead of just using Salt, they need to use other seasonings also in the sauce. The cream can be barely tasted. There's no parsley, garlic, black pepper, and Parmesan (which are greatly needed). When I'm eating this for the next few days, the only way I can eat this is to serve it on a plate and put some fresh cheese of some sort on top (like Colby Jack or Cheddar) and put it in the microwave until melted. I also sprinkled some "All Purpose" seasoning mix on it so it actually had more of a complicated taste than just being salt and wheat pasta blah taste. Annies is a good quality brand; however, they need to seriously improve this. If you call it Alfredo, it should be Alfredo, not just Salt and Cream. It needs better pronounced Alfredo taste by using cream that can be tasted, seasonings, and cheese. Its not the whole wheat pasta that is the problem, its the sauce being used.
