Wonderful, healthy dressingJun 14, 2009
By J. Duty This dressing works very well for us because it doesn't have soy oil. We think it tastes better than other ranch dressings and love the package size - lasts longer and contributes less plastic to the environment.

Not typical ranch but good.Feb 08, 2011
By jennynbear This ranch doesn't taste like typical ranch but my brother loves it. He has many food allergys and it is wheat, corn, and soy free. You can find it in smaller bottles at Mother's Market. It has a unique taste so I recommend trying it before buying alot of it.

Creamy DressingDec 24, 2009
By M. Skinny Cowgirl Ranch: my favorite flavor of my favorite dressing brand. Hopefully it's trans fat free!! It sticks to raw vegetables best of any dressing I have tried, so a little bit goes a long way. I am so thankful Amazon and Annies' made these liter bottles available. They are handy and last a long time. Amazon packs these tight and their service is quick every time. Very good dressing ingredients-wise too, like most all Annie's Naturals products seem to be.
Don't expect it to taste like ranch dressing...Nov 29, 2011
By dioel I bought this dressing to find a healthier alternative to standard ranch.
The first time I tasted it, I was expecting it to taste like real ranch dressing. And it was so awful!! I could barely choke down the organic arugula and spinach mix I had poured it on.
It's grown on me since. Expectation plays quite a bit into how things taste, I've found.
Cons:
-contains cane sugar
-misleading name, tastes nothing like ranch
-taste isn't spectacular, especially compared to what Annie's is capable of.
Go for instead:
For a fantastic-tasting Annie's dressing, go for Annie's Naturals Goddess Dressing. Its other benefits include no sugar, and only 10 more calories for the same serving size (120 cal per 2 tbsp, as opposed to 110 cal per 2 tbsp)
Waaaay too sweetNov 15, 2011

I'm a big fan of Annie's Goddess dressing but thought I'd try the ranch to break out of my rut. It is very strange... grainy and way too sweet. In fact, it doesn't taste much like "ranch" dressing. Maybe "cowgirl" is code for sweet. Tastes more like Russian dressing to me.
