I love this mix. Not only do you get 3 grams of fiber (for 2 5-inch pancakes) but 5 grams of protein! [Which is great if you have a finicky eater, like I do.]
The mix is made with organic grains. You can mix it up with water, milk or soymilk. The recipe they give is 3/4 cup Mix for 1/2 cup liquid; but I usually do 1-to-1 because we like thinner pancakes. (It also makes it easier to make varying quantities since no calculations are necessary. 1/4 cup of mix for just the hubby; 2 cups for a Saturday morning...)
Truly, this mix couldn't be easier to use. It's so easy that I can usually whip together a quick breakfast for the kids even on the busiest school mornings. Every child I have fixed these for, loves them.

I absolutely love this mix for waffles. It has a distinctive nutty taste and slightly coarse texture of true whole grain. Very tasty! I don't follow the directions, however. I mix it using nothing but water and spray a light mist of olive oil cooking spray on the iron's grids. The iron I use is a flip over style and there's no problem with sticking. The result is a waffle with more body than the usual white flour mixes that produce a squishy, white bread like waffle. It's not easy to find locally with only two stores stocking it in their natural food section but it's well worth the drive. A few squirts of 'I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" spray, some genuine maple syrup and a few dabs of home-made strawberry freezer jam .... MMM-Good!

Having consumed 2 complete packages of this product, I can tell you that standard pancake mix is now dull and unappealing to me. This mix is very tasty and I love the texture of the pancake which makes it all the more interesting. Because it is made from whole grains, it is definitely a more nutritious product which specifically conforms to the needs of persons with many health issues as well as the average person. I will continue to use this product with great pleasure.

I have changed my diet and needed to remove all dairy products. But I love pancakes and was extremely happy to find this product. All that I need to add I either water or soy milk. Quick and easy, I highly recommend this to anyone.

I like this mix. Makes good tasting pancakes. Reviewer who didn't like this mix may have forgot about the expiration stamp on the bag and perhaps was using very old mix.
