I love this product as I can digest it, which is not the case with most pancake formulas. But where did it go? Anyone know?

This is an excellent vegan gluten-free mix. Unlike many other gluten-free products, which often contain unpalatable amounts of salt, this mix contains no added salt (or sugar).
The waffles I made following the recipe on the package were great. I used unsweetened soymilk and egg replacer for a vegan product. I also replaced the canola oil and honey with coconut oil and maple syrup. This may have altered the flavor slightly. However, I suspect the main flavor complaints might come from those unused to a low fat, low salt, low sugar, vegan diet. Gluten free also means no wheat flavor - here brown rice and wild rice are used producing an nice nutty flavor, which is tasty, but subtle.
The waffles were fluffy but dense. I had to add extra soymilk to improve the consistency of the batter. More liquid may have lightened the texture. The egg replacer I used included leavening which may have produced a fluffier texture than eggs.
Overall, exactly what a mix should be: necessary dry ingredients mixed together, with plenty of room for personal variation in taste and dietary preference.

This product may or may not be good for you but, they are very dry and flat and do not taste good. My son ate them only after smothering them in syrup.

"Pancake connoisseur"
I have used this product for years in my pancakes that I make every Sunday morning. I was told by the health food store that I usually purchase it from that it was no longer available. I was disappointed to hear that but went on the web to verify that fact. After a little research, I found it was still available through Amazon.com. So I purchased all they had at the time and froze it so it will be a while before I need more. I make my pancakes from several different flours and have found the Wild Rice flour a necessary ingredient for the "perfect" pancake.
