Auguri makes great olive oil!Jan 29, 2007
We have been having their olive oil at our favorite Italian restaurant, as a dipping oil. I've never tasted anything quite like it. Sweet, very "olivey" tasting, not bitter... After 5 years we finally asked the name, and they said "Auguri"! So, I went to several markets, and could not find them. Looked online, could not find a website for them, or stores to buy them in. Alas, here at amazon.com. Definitely buy their Extra Virgin for dipping (if they sell it here), and then try the fancier ones too, like this rosemary sounds really great. I did see they are part of Mediterranean Olive Oil Company in San Francisco and market the products under the name Auguri, but my understanding is it's imported from Italy. Well, we can hope! ;)

Just a touch of RosemaryNov 08, 2008

I have looked and looked for Rosemary Oil since it quit being sold in the grocery stores and health food stores for a couple of years now. This product has a smooth taste. One thing I have learned about Rosemary, if one puts too much in/on it can make the item taste moldy. Put the right amount on and the flavor is equisite and a nice change. I put use it with rice dishes, scrambled eggs, soups, fish and fowl. What is nice it doesn't take much so it last longer and saves on money:if more oil is needed and don't need more rosemary flavor, just add more olive oil. I have used dried rosemary but it doesn't seem to give the flavor that I am after. Tried also to put dried and fresh rosemary in olive oil and let it set and still couldn't get the flavor right. Will definitly buy this product again.

By J. Kouraichi I am almost through bottle 2 of this olive oil--it is lovely. It is great for dipping and as a salad dressing. I'm going to buy another 3 pack after I get halfway through my third bottle.
