Sure, I could go to the trouble of making a batch of homemade (if I could find dry marrowfat peas in the US)... but this is near-instant gratification we're talking about!
A couple of the tins did get dinted in shipping. Just be prepared to eat some upon arrival!

So far as I know this may be the only outlet for affordable mushy peas in the U.S. I have been subscribing to these 8 packs of cans for the past year, reordering when needed. Batchelors peas are really tasty and great for having as a side with some fish and chips at home. I know that some others have complained about shipping in the past, but our cans have always arrived in pretty good condition and come safely packaged wrapped together in plastic in a sturdy box.
The subscription option is a great deal which gives an even better discount. I highly recommend trying it, and you can cancel when you like, or rush your next shipment. It's really nice.
I'm so glad that Amazon offers this service for ordering Batchelors mushy peas!

The cans arrived dented but I love these peas,almost as good as the dry marrowfat peas you have to soak overnight,definetly a lot more convenient.

They came on time and tasted great as always but would have been nice if 4 out of the 8 cans weren't dented! otherwise they would have got a 5 star rating.

Admittedly, mushy peas are an acquired taste-although long a favourite side dish in the UK. They go well with any fish or meat dish. They're quick to fix (heat up in less the 5 min. in the microwave) and tasty.
Buy a can locally and try them and if you like them sign up for them on Amazon's Subscribe and Save programme.
