GREAT PRODUCT!Feb 17, 2009

As a dental professional, I highly recommend this mouth rinse. It kills bacteria that causes bad breath without the alcohol that's in other mouth rinses such as Listerine, which has the most alcohol content. Alcohol drys out your mouth and can increase halitosis especially if you already have dry mouth to begin with.

Good product, but is there a need for all that Blue Dye?Jun 29, 2011
By AlexanderSF The product from what I can tell does a good job. The mouth is fresh for a good amount of time after use, but why is there a need to make the rinse BRIGHT COBALT BLUE? Why not keep the product natural. All that blue dye can't be good for you.

Super!May 05, 2010
By romevi I have post-nasal drip, so my breath can get funky a lot. I've grown accustomed to carrying Altoids with me, and the mouthwashes I've used over the years didn't do that great of a job. Listerine is way too strong for me, and Scope still left my breath stinky. ACT did pretty well for a while, but I haven't seen that around lately.
This BreathRx is fantastic. I didn't hear of it before finding it on Amazon.com, and thought it a bit pricey, but with the reviews decided to give it a try. It really does eliminate bad breath, and isn't strong as Listerine because it contains no alcohol. Definitely leaves a mouthwash aftertaste, but that's better than walking around with morning breath all day.

It works for meFeb 10, 2012
By Truth Be Told I have suffered with bad breath all my life. I have tried Cepacol Antibacterial, Smart Mouth Advanced, Listerine, Act Restoring, scope etc etc. The only one that worked was Listerine, but the problem I had with Listerine besides the alcohol is that the effects/fresh breath only last for an hour maybe two. I resorted to chewing gum to hide my breath (a pack a day)and this cause my teeth to develop cavities. I decided to give breathrx a try since the price on amazon was such a good deal 15.89 compared to 19.99 at a local store.
The first thing I notice was the lack of the burning feeling I received from Listerine. The breathrx left my mouth feeling refresh, a clean refreshing feeling not the chemical clean feel you get with Listerine. I used it at 12:45pm that day and at 11:15pm that night my breath was not smelly. I thought that over time the bacteria in my mouth would build up a resistance and my bad breath would return, but I am happy to say after over a month of use my bad breath has not returned.
This is not a quick fix for bad oral hygiene. Bad breath can be cause by many thing. You still need to floss, brush at "least" two times a day, use a tongue scraper and have your teeth cleaned/checked my a dentist at "least" once a year.

Not for Everyday UseNov 27, 2011
By Gary Sargent I purchased this product for oral hygeine to later realize it was more targeted for breath problems. After several months of regular use my dentist expressed some concern that whatever mouthwash I was using was too severely altering the natural flora of the mouth. He suggested I stop using this and move to other brands less severe.
