This is a very good product, and I was really surprised to see how low the cost was compared to retail (about $4.79 at Whole Foods). However, I noticed the sell-by date on the package is November 2006. So far, the product tastes okay, but I hope that Amazon is not selling some of these products at such shockingly low prices because they are about to become outdated.

Just received the product. Date Code says better by November 1st, 2006. Today is the 7th! I have not opened a single box and I am afraid of rancid taste, since it has nuts in them. I hope Amazon is not selling products that is out of date! I know I can't donate any food item if it is out of date.

This is a great little bar that has so much good stuff in it that you can substitute it for a quick breakfast out the door. It is soft, which makes a satifying bite and holds off hunger for several hours.

I have bought this item on 11/03/06. When I received it, the box stated that the expiration date is 11/01/06. This means it was expired at the time I ordered it!
The product itself is good (I still tried it even though it was expired). But I do not recommend it - Amazon should make sure the food they are selling has not reached its expiration date.

My order came in a timely fashion and unlike other reviewers, mine were nowhere near the expiration date. I had no problems with my order and the granola bars were much cheaper than at my local whole foods store. These are my favorite granola bars.
