Inedible & gross...Apr 23, 2010

Salty and rank with an inedible flavor and a mushy, slimy texture. I couldn't even finish the first can and I had 23 more to do. My cat took a few sniffs of it and then walked away. If he won't eat it knowing how my cat loves tuna, I won't either. It's not even pure tuna in water. It contains vegetable broth with soy on top of the salt that's in there. This little can has 350 mg. of sodium. Truly disgusting.
There's another good review of the same tuna which is the one I saw. Had I seen these I wouldn't have bought this. I'm going to post this on the other page too.

Cat Food anyone?Aug 13, 2009
By rosekelly Pros: No fishy smell. More fish particles than liquid. My cat love it.
Cons: Grated Tuna NOT Chunk. Very mushy. Cannot be use for topping salad or any recipe that call for Chunk Tuna. Sam's club carry the same thing for A LOT LESS!

Tuna soupSep 14, 2009
By Syldaril I bought a bunch of these from Walgreens just to find that none of the cans had chunks of tuna in them. They should probably re-label this product to "tuna soup" since this is really what this is. The pieces are so tiny that they literally ooze out of the can as you drain the water out of it. Plus who in their right mind would name a brand of canned tuna 'Chicken of the Sea'?

Not the bestAug 11, 2011
By Manu ...but it is edible. I like the super saver free shipping mainly, otherwise I would purchase another brand. This is emergency lunch that conveniently gets shipped directly to my office, where I keep it for when I do not have time to step out, but need to have protein. Most cans are fine, but every now and then, you get a funky can of tuna, which doesn't look right.
