Great Crown Prince Skinless and boneless sardinesJun 10, 2010 I have finally found a top notch product in this category.
Sardines are the right size, tender, very neatly packaged.
The price is fair when one considers the high quality.

excellent sardinesMay 12, 2010 Crown Prince, Natural Sea and one other brand which seems to be no longer available are far and above the best skinless/boneless sardines available at a reasonable price. I have not tried any of the brands that are horrendously expensive.
These sardines in olive oil are delicious eaten right out of the can with a little freshly squeezed lemon juice and salt. They also make a fantastic pate when mashed (oil and all) - and combined with goat cheese (or cow cream cheese), lemon juice, a few drops of liquid smoke, some finely chopped sweet onion and finely chopped roasted red peppers.
Try them. I think you'll agree that they are excellent.
Skinless, boneless sardines from Morocco.May 08, 2010 The first thing I look for is China. If China is the only choice, skip it. I do not eat anything from China (and they have taken over our sea food industry; along with most of our industry). I do not want it even if it is free. Their track record for product quality is ZIP! Sardines from cold waters are the best, but for the price these are great. I presume the double layered are too small to skin and remove bones, these are larger than I prefer, but still very good.

Delectable! Best canned sardines, ever!Mar 23, 2010 Crown Prince skinless & boneless sardines are truly a healthy treat. I love seafood to begin with, and with all the scare about PCB's, mercury, and other chemicals in our fish lately, I have been researching healthier alternatives. I love the fact that these sardines are large and meaty, with just the right texture. They have been thoroughly cleaned as well, and I don't have to worry about eating bones, skin, or inner organ remnants (EWW!). I always make sure I am well stocked, and try to have at least 5 to 10 cans within reach.

Much cheaper at WalmartFeb 08, 2010 I only paid $1.62 for a can just like this at Walmart. That is why I gave it one star. These are overpriced.
