OK Mints that could be strongerJan 10, 2007

I purchased these mints from Amazon hoping to find a level below altoids in strength. I was kind of disappointed. These mints are VERY VERY weak in flavor. I am used to stronger mints and in some ways I can barely tell anything is there. BUT - if you think Altoids are suicidally strong and want a more subtle mint - look no further - these are the mints you are looking for. If you are looking for something strong or having a strong spearmint flavor move along - nothing to see here.

I love these mints because they're not too strong and have a great taste. Kinda like you just brushed your teeth.

Unknowing to me (since Amazon does not display Nutrition Facts for their food products), this product shows on the back of its label that it contains Aspartame -- phenylalanine/phenylketonuria -- which is the same stuff they use in Diet Coke (which is why they are 0 calories).
The controversy over Aspartame?
Scientists believe (since the use of it is fairly new since the 80s) that it is a cause to cancer, brain tumors, lesions, etc. (Read about it by searching on Wikipedia/Google).
Avoid the product.
Go for more natural products for breath relief.
