 Fresh ground pepper is best!Dec 30, 2008

I recently discovered (how could it have taken so long?) that salt and pepper mills provide a lot more taste when I'm putting a meal together. This grinds peppercorns easily and distributes the ground pepper nicely over whatever dish I'm working on.
But it's the taste that makes this such a nice product. I used to use the regular already ground pepper out of a tin. Compared with freshly ground? It just doesn't add the same taste and bite to a dish. There are many other such sets out there and available (several different brands are available in the grocery store I use most often), but I have enjoyed using this brand and intend to continue doing so--unless someone informs me of a better grinder yet.
Anyway, this has been a handy product for me as I cook or flavor food a bit after cooking.

We never knew there could be such a difference in pepper. My wife picked up our first bottle at Publix because she liked the shape of the bottle!
We found, with the built in grinder, it not only stays fresh, but this brand has a unique kick and flavor not found elsewhere. Amazon is a lot cheaper than at the store, so we gave our extra bottles to our children who are now also hooked.

How much ground pepper have we all ingested in our lifetimes-probably quite a bit. This is the best ground pepper I've ever had. The taste is clean and pure on everything. A salad, tomatoes, pasta with olive oil and basil. I haven't dipped into the salt yet..using up some other stuff..but expecting it to be pretty darned good too! Also purchased spices and when I tasted them...I immediately tossed out some others that were living in my cabinet. This company is a breath of fresh air. They put out a great product at a great price. Thank you Drogheria & Alimentari!

A friend of ours was moving to Japan and couldn't take her kitchen implements along with her. Among the many utensils, vessels, and spices she bequeathed to us, we found the Drogheria & Alimentari All Natural Black Peppercorns Mill grinder. Not thinking much of it, I placed it behind our spice collection- we now had nearly three of everything.
About a year later, after we ran out of McCormick Four Seasons Pepper (in the grinder), I re-discovered the D&A pepper. I was making my standard Caesar salad and threw a bit on. The change was instantly noticeable. The D&A pepper added earthly spice to the dish that set off the garlic, vinegar, and mustard in a way that I'd never before tasted. My wife commented that it was the best Caesar I'd ever made. I told her about the pepper. We decided to try it on popcorn as well. The flavor was exquisite.
D&A All Natural Black Peppercorns Mill can bring out and compliment the flavor of any dish that takes pepper. I'm convinced now. We've since run out of D&A pepper and tried several other brands. I've actually given them all to friends after the first week. None of them come even close to the flavor and texture of D&A. I've just ordered a grinder three-pack and I can't wait for it to arrive. We might try some other D&A spices as well- based on the strength of the pepper.
