duracell batteries are reliableSep 19, 2010
By Sarge I have purchased mainly name brand batteries over the years due in large part of the reliability of the product. I have to be able to depend on the batteries during Guard missions as we are required to purchase our own equipment since we are unpaid volunteers. Further, I have seen others buy cheaper batteries and then find out that they were only good for 50%. Duracell and Energizer have never let me down and I am always in radio communication and my lights are always bright from the first battery to the last battery in each pack for ten years now.

Check your installed batteries regularly.Jun 20, 2011
By Gordon Schwarzer Having lost a 3 cell Maglite to corroded batteries I decided to check my other flashlights. Of the other 3 there were 2 which had started to corrode, having use by dates of Dec 2012. The last flashlight was bright and the use by date was Sept 2000. That's correct the batteries were 11 years old. And they were Duracell Copper Tops. So needless to say that's why I purchased these excellent batteries.

By pat Live in foothills. After going through 3 days of no power and new storm coming, looked for D batteries and they were all sold out. Like the convenience of having enough and the price was right at Amazon!

8 x 2 = 16 Batteries for a good priceDec 03, 2009
By Bruce M. Koepp Maybe Costco's batteries are cheaper - but they're not duracell and I would have had to pay for tax.

Lot's of batteries at a very low price. I wish the package had an expiration date, but I tested them and they are all fully charged!
