I bought this primarily for 3 dishes. Soupos, salmon, and mashed potatoes.
It performs best in the soup. It's rehydrated and gives off a wonderful aroma. In other 2 dishes, it is a bit weak; the flavor is barely there.
I would recomend fresh dill, unless the dish has liquid :)
