4nice aroma good sudsApr 16, 2010

This is a nice product and does the trick while not being overly harsh on your hands. The bottle is a handy size to leave out at the sink and if you have older more fragile skin like mine you are willing to pay a bit more for a product like this one. I have soft water so it lathers well used straight out of the bottle on a dish rag but I am unsure of how well it would work in hard water. The pear fragrance is a nice change from all the flowery stuff out there.

5Good dishsoap for most dishes. Wish it was available in larger size.Apr 19, 2011
By Sage Shopper
I have used 4 of the 6 bottles in the case, so I feel I can review it finally. The reason I got this soap was because my hands get really red, dry and irritated from handwashing dishes. Since using this Earth Friendly Dishmate my hands have improved by half, (of course the hot water does some of the damage I am sure, but I hate wearing rubber gloves). Also I wanted to get some plain non-additive dishsoap because I sometimes use a few drops of dishsoap to wash my fruits and vegetables, and although not advertized for this use (we all know we do it sometimes!), I feel that this plain vegetable-based soap without additives is probably a better choice for this purpose. I have also replaced the cream soap in my hand-soap pump dispenser in my bathroom with this dishmate soap, because I dislike additive-laiden scented hand soaps. Cleaning Dishes: Going back to when I first received this product: I have to admit at first I did not like this dishsoap. Right away I notice it is more liquidy/runnier, and it seems less concentrated detergent-wise than commercial brands like my prior favorite Palmolive. The instructions do state on the bottle you need at least an ounce in a sinkful of dishes, whereas with the name brands I only needed one squirt to get some nice grease-cutting sudsy water (and I have soft water). But after a while I realized all the benefits: No fake scent, no fake coloring and no perfume. Most cutlery, serving and table dishes clean up just fine with this dishsoap . 99% of dishes do not need cleaning with super concentrated detergent anyway just to wash off a bit of crumbs, sticky food/drink residues. For pots and pans, this dishsoap works fine too, and if I have a really heavily-fat-laden pan I like to wipe the grease out with a paper towel any first so as not to get cold grease in my septic tank. Then the pan gets one good squirt of this dishsoap and hot water finishes the job. The final result is clean. I would however like to see this product available in bulk in a larger jug instead of lots of small bottles.

5Great for dishes and for washing handsJun 11, 2010

I am very happy with this soap. It has a light natural scent that is not overpowering. The soap is very concentrated and works so great, I dilute it 3 parts water to 1 part soap. No harsh chemicals, no fake color dyes.

To make it even better I recommend the Cuisipro Foam Pump to aerate the soap into a fluffy, money saving foam. Use it in the kitchen for dishes and for washing hands in bathrooms.

4Earthy Friendly Dish SoapApr 25, 2011

I love the smell of this detergent. It works well but I miss my Dawn! However, this is better for the environment.

5Great natural productDec 30, 2011

Super sudsy, clean natural ingredients. I like the unscented for not making my dishes smell perfumy but have tried the almond and really like that scent. I saw the company rep doing a demo of the laundry detergent Ecos at Costco and she told me that I could use this as hand soap and bubble bath as well-super gentle and mild-we do and it's a great bubble bath for my kids-they love it-bubbles last and it's not drying at all!
