As you can see below, I reviewed this silver polish at an earlier date. An employee told me that they had received a bad batch of calcium carbonate which they weren't aware of until I tried the initial sample. I recently received a second bottle from the manufacturer and can now classify it as one of the LEAST polishes on the market. I was tyold thet they would test all calcium carbonate shipments for quality before making this polish. Another positive aspect of this polish is that it won't impart a shine the way most polishes will. In other words, if your silver is dull and has tarnish, the silver will remain dull after the tarnish is polished off. This is especially important for historically significant pieces of silver which must maintain their finish to retain their value.

I'm a silver restoration & conservation specialist who recently tested Earth Friendly's silver polish. This product is EXTREMELY abrasive! Though it is non-toxic, it certainly is NOT non-abrasive as it states on the packaging. You could very easily cut through the plating on plated objects.
