dec 09, 2010: been using this for 3 months now, and does the job. we do pre-wash to some extent to get rid of any major gunk. wave seems to be at least as good as cascade liquid and definitely better than kirkland. if the claims of being green are true, it's definitely a product worth purchasing.
apr 30, 2011: shocked to see a 43% hike in the price... will have to look for alternatives now.

After giving this product months to win me over, I finally had to give it up and go back to the old grocery store options. The product left dishes dirty and with spots on them. Often had to hand wash items AFTER they had been washed in the dishwasher.

I found the product to be inconsistent in its cleaning. It maybe do to the well water which is very hard and I am not the best a keeping the water softener serviced correctly. The higher end soaps like cascade have done a better job under the same conditions. If you want to use this I would recommend making sue you clean your dishes very well before washing them.

I wish this product worked better. I love that it is natural. But it left residue and small amounts of food on my dishes. I prewash most of the stuff off my dishes. But, I would have to scrub my dishes first before using this product. It smells great!

Earth Friendly Wave Gel does a great job at cleaning the dishes in my dishwasher and is safe and healthy for the environment. It only takes a small cup of the gel for each wash and has proven economical as well. Great buy!
