 Worst Product Ever!Oct 18, 2010

My dishes all come out dirty with this product. I am not a procrastinator. I immediately rinse my dishes and put them in the dishwasher. This product will not even clean my Corelle mugs of tea. All my mugs come out with brown stains. I have never seen Corelle stain before! My silverware has food baked on now, as well as my dishes. And they were all mostly clean before going in. I took a picture of my cups. Trying to upload it now.

Unfortunately, I have to give these one star as well. While the premise is great, the product simply does not perform well. I have used one box and I have yet to have one load of dishes come out clean enough to put away without rinsing and/or re-washing. I won't be purchasing these again.

If your household pre-rinses the dishes before loading them into the dishwasher, this product will work great for you! We have a fairly new dishwasher with a built-in disposal and have no need to pre-rinse the dishes when using Cascade or Electrasol powertabs. However, with the Wave packets, we found that the silverware wasn't totally clean unless we pre-rinsed everything. Thankfully, there were no suds like some of the other reviewers mentioned with the Wave liquid dishwasher detergent. (I was so concerned after reading the other reviews, I opened the dishwasher at least 6 times to check for suds during the cycle the first time I used the packets.) The product arrived in perfect condition, with all packets intact. We just have to decide if we want to use extra water for pre-rinsing or not. That's why this product gets 4 stars instead of 5. We really like the company and nearly all of our household cleaning products are made by Earth Friendly. Give this a try!

Caution! Poor PackagingMar 09, 2009

I ordered the 6 box package of this product, and all 6 boxes were unusable. The boxes contained desiccant to reduce moisture, however the individual packets had all dissolved/broken down, leaving boxes of nothing but loose powder, vice the premeasured packets that were purchased. The boxes were undamaged and did not present the appearance of having been exposed to water, so I assume environmental water vapor and temperature of the storage or shipping facility is the culprit. There is likely a storage requirement from the manufacturer that was not met somewhere in the distribution chain.
Pros: No obvious benefits. Product obviously dissolves easily.
Cons: Definitely not as described - no packetized detergent arrived.
Summary: Product may offer benefits, however proper storage and shipment prevented product from arriving in a useful fashion. If environmental conditions play a large role in the survivability of the product, than measures should be taken to either employ packaging that properly protects the product (i.e. less susceptible to environmental variations) or ensure environmentally controlled storage and shipping. Considering the variability of shipping and storage facilities across the country, the root cause can be attributed to poor manufacturer packaging.
