I've been using this product every morning for six months, and, coupled with a 5% benzoyl peroxide product at night, I've seen a significant improvement in my skin's tone and texture. The benzoyl peroxide cream helps control my acne, and the salicylic acid/AHA complex in Ecco Bella's product makes my skin noticeably softer, smoother, and more radiant. I've actually gotten a some compliments on my skin tone in the past few weeks -- something that has NEVER happened before!
Ecco Bella's Blemish Remedy is a thin, yellowy-beige liquid. To apply, I press my index finger against the mouth of the bottle, flip it over and back, and then use my fingertips to spread the liquid around. I repeat this until I've covered my entire face. (I imagine you could use a cotton ball/pad if you wanted, but you'd probably go through the bottle fairly quickly.) I give it 10 minutes to really penetrate into my pores, and then I apply moisturizer/sunscreen and makeup.
There is only one minor downside that I've experienced with this product: it has a strong "aromatheraphy" scent. To me, it actually smells a little like men's aftershave. Luckily, the scent doesn't linger. Some people will doubtless find it very pleasant.
All in all, I highly recommend this product for those who are looking for an effective leave-on salicylic acid/AHA treatment. Additionally, Ecco Bella's Blemish Remedy has no animal ingredients, and the company never tests on animals, making this product 100% vegan -- a must-have in my book.

I'm very happy with this product and will purchase again.
The spray on toner is refreshing and has a pleasant fragrance.
I am using it am and pm, under my daytime moisturizer as well as
nightime moisterizer.

Lucky me, I have adult acne. I'm also rapidly approaching middle age. I was looking for a no-animal-testing product to replace my Neutrogena Clear Pore (a 2% BHA which had always worked so-so at best). This product has alpha hydroxy acid AND beta hydroxy acid, to handle both acne and wrinkles. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the consistency makes it a little difficult to apply. It's sort of like a runny pudding and does not come out of the glass bottle with much control. Do as they say and only use it 1x a day to start or you may find yourself with dry flaky skin instead of oily bumpy skin.

I wanted to love this product, as I have adult acne and oily skin, and was hoping to get it under control with a more natural product. But after using for 3 weeks, my skin is unchanged, and if anything, a little flaky. It doesn't wear well under makeup (my skin gets oily faster if I wear this under my makeup), so I only apply it at night. It's probably important to note that I have not had much luck in the past with AHA/BHA products, but was hoping the strength of this product would prove it to be different than other products I've tried. If AHA/BHAs don't work for you, don't bother trying this one. I'm going to find something else.

After YEARS of using over-the-counter and prescription acne treatments, I hit the jackpot when I ran across this little concoction. It zaps or resolves blemishes OVERNIGHT, and my skin is bright, and even-toned--and this is from someone whose been on Retin-A and Tazorac. I've used it for four months, and haven't been back to the dermatologist since.
