No BPA. Good vegan substitute for ricotta.Jan 19, 2009
By Lisa M. Mims Why on earth would you eat these, particularly in large quantities?
You can make a vegan, gluten free ricotta substitute with this, lemon juice and canola oil. Mix up the ingredients and then layer them between strips of Tinkyada lasagna. Bake for awhile in some tomato sauce, and you have fabulous vegan, gluten-free lasagna.
(If you want the recipe, e-mail me at the address above. I'd publish it here, but it then becomes property of Amazon, and it's actually going into my cookbook.)

Eden organic great northern beansFeb 01, 2011
By MHC Most of the cans I received in the shipment were dented. The beans tasted good but there was too much liquid in the cans. I measured three forth of a cup. Probably will not order again.

Good beans!Jun 15, 2011

These are good beans. We mostly use them for chili. Most importantly, the cans do not contain BPA! I like to be able to whip up chili quickly by opening up a bunch of cans of beans without putting my endocrine system at risk!

Low salt and healthyJun 27, 2010
By A. Thompson The doctor told me to lose weight or I'm going on insulin in 3 months, so I'm desperately looking for healthy food choices and not worried so much about taste. With about 385 calories per can; 35 calories from fat; 157mg of sodium (7% RDA); 17g protein; and a whopping 28g of fiber, these cans fit the bill. Yes, they don't have a great flavor, but mixed with some cooked quinoa or brown rice and added tuna or sardines, these are very good.
