So much better than soy flourJan 24, 2011

I have used this product for years, and like it so much better than soy flour (which is the whole bean ground up). It has a much better flavor. I substitute about 1/4 of the flour with this, and you can't tell. Great stuff!

Yummy!Jan 22, 2011
By B. Carlisle I purchased this as a low-carb cooking alternative. I found a recipe that called for this soya powder instead of flour and decided to give it a try. The cookies tasted great, but they really fell apart, I think because this powder is so fine and there wasn't much to keep them together. Overall, the taste of this powder is very good. I use soy flour a lot, and it has a really bean-y taste before it is cooked, but this didn't. The canister has a soy milk recipe on it that I'm going to try because the taste of the powder is so mild. I will keep working with it!

Good Lo-Carb Flour ReplacementJun 17, 2011
By J. Brown I had found a few Atkins recipes that called for this powder. I've been using it in place of other flour recipes for a while. If you taste the batter, it has a bizarre taste to it. Once you bake the item, you'd never know it was soy.
Interesting TasteDec 29, 2011
By Jerry We were looking for Soy Milk that we can makeup for use on vacations since we often cannot purchase it where we go. We were expecting to get 1 can of this powdered version and got 3, much to our surprise, for the same price. It turns out it comes in sets of three. When we made it up for drinking, we found it has a grainy material in it that does not dissolve. The taste otherwise was OK. But we didn't like the grainyness. So I got a reusable coffee filter and started filtering the grainyness out of it. That works. We can now use it on cereals and in mush on our trips. At home we prefer the liquid version we buy in cartons.
