I have tasted many pumpkin oils from Styria (Austrian province), France and the Balkans, both raw and toasted. "Flora Pumkin Oil" is raw, cold-pressed and as such should have strong flavor and aroma. Unfortunately, compared to other raw pumpkin seed oils, this oil was bland, had very little (almost flat) aroma and unusually little flavor. I suggest buying "Flora Bija Organic Hydro-therm Oil, 8.5-Ounce" oil (available here on Amazon), which is also raw (cold-pressed) and has much more flavor to it. However, I decided to make my next purchase directly from a farmer in Styria (Austria) and have it shipped to the US; this costs around $50 for 1 Liter (~1/4 gallon or 33 oz), but the quality and taste is well worth the price. I personally find raw pumpkin seed oil more flavorful and more nutritional (heat, including toasting and roasting destroys nutrients in this oil). Because of its strong taste, I need very little of this oil (max 1 tablespoon) to make any meal taste significantly better. Raw pumpkin seed oil should never be heated(!); it must be consumed cold (drizzled raw over salads and already cooked meals).
