I use this Frontier Chicken Flavored Broth Powder, Meatless instead of the Organic Frontier Chicken Flavored Broth Powder, because the Organic version has maltodextrin, which my son can't have. This is a great broth that we use to season lots of different foods; rice, meats and making sauces. I use so much of it, I decided to order online.

I was all set to love this product until I noticed the ingredients. The first ingredient is Corn Syrup Solids, and the second is salt! Add to that the fact that it tastes nothing like chicken, and you get a product I won't order again. I gave them two stars for at least attempting to produce a vegetarian soup flavoring and for including turmeric in the ingredients.

I started buying this a few years ago at a local health food store in small baggies... I couldn't get enough! It's a delicious addition to any soups and sauces. So glad I can buy it in bulk now! I'm a vegetarian so a lot of broth powders are less than flavorful, but this one hits the spot.

We like this better than the Imagine product, which IMHO has inferior taste and an unfortunate cloudy texture.
I'd like to see Amazon stock the 5lb bags.

This broth is not salty, great flavor. Love this broth! Add to soups, gravy or drink for a filling snack.
