I've enjoyed the regular Golden Malted waffles often at hotel breakfast bars, so I recently purchased a Waring Pro waffle maker so I could have fresh-baked waffles at home too.
I also ordered some of the waffle mix directly from Golden Malted, but their cost plus the shipping fees were too high to permit me to enjoy them very often, only just for a special treat. I then tried some other supermarket waffle mixes but they just weren't as good. When I realized Amazon carried the Golden Malted products, and at an excellent price (especially with subscribe and save), now I can have a waffle every morning without major strain on my wallet.
The blueberry flavor is excellent, chock-full of real dried blueberries rather than the nasty soy-protein fake blueberries found in less expensive brands. It's a nice change from the regular flavor and tastes even better with a handful of fresh blueberries or blueberry syrup on top. Although the directions specify adding whole eggs and melted butter to the batter, I just use egg whites and leave the butter out entirely. I hardly notice the difference, and the calorie savings is significant. Delicious!

This is the third flavor I have tried of Carbon's Golden Malted (plain and pumpkin came before this). It has small, dried blueberries in the mix. It is very good, with a little milder blueberry flavor that I like, but it is just perfect for my milder spouse. I can top my waffles with fresh or frozen blueberries or blueberry syrup and get the bursting-with-flavor I prefer without overpowering him. Recommended.

I have tryed a lot of mixes and home made recipe's but this is by far the best I have ever had. The Wife and kids go crazy for it also.

&a bought this item because of the reviews. i must say, that its almost just as good as my own personal recipe! i use it because it saves me lots of time and its easy!. i shared this with my coworkers and they could hardly believe that it was a mix! its one of the best! the waring waffle maker makes this work great!! ( i have two of them!). just enjoy the taste and you will be very happy.
