My family's favoriteJun 27, 2011

Out of maybe 4 different Hamburger Helpers I buy on a regular basis, Beef Pasta remains my family's favorite and although I subscribed to it every six months, I think I'll have to change this to 3 months, since we've been eating it more lately.
I've made this with both ground beef and ground turkey and both turn out great. With a nice, beefy taste to it, this is one of the few dishes my picky daughter will go back to for seconds and thirds. My husband said one night that soon I'd need to make two boxes at once, but I think instead I'll just make side dishes to fill people up.
The current subscription price ($7.45 for 6 boxes) makes the price per box come out to $1.24 each box, which is the same as the cheapest sale price I can get at local stores. Usually the sale puts the boxes at $1.50 to $2.50 each, so it's already a bargain with free shipping.

Where's the pasta?Feb 15, 2012
By Yankee2NY From what I remember, Hamburger Helper used to come with enough pasta for more than one person. I would have to buy four boxes to feed my three kids! I can make this meal on my own for free. What a rip off.

Ok product....Jul 08, 2007

A decent, middle of the road hamburger helper flavor. It tastes very similar to a salisbury steak with gravy. I use ground turkey with these mixes instead of ground beef - it is cheaper and much lower in fat. Prepare the ground turkey the exact same way you prepare the ground beef.

This is the best. Not hard to prepare. Great taste. I love the beef flavor. I like to eat it with buttered bread.
