Not the Real ThingMar 02, 2008

Four stars because of the "light factor'.
To my palette Hellman's regular Mayo is perfect with egg salad and my potato salad and tuna salad.
I tried this "light" version and it's not right for me.
Some of the taste is left out with the light version.
I may change my mind if my health dictates but for now it's "the real thing" that I'm loyal to.
Recommended only if the real thing is unhealthy for you.

Tasty AdditionMar 13, 2008
By Sophia Samuda For those of us who like mayo, but prefer it light, This is tastier than I expected and adds great flavour just the same.

Like the squeezable containerJun 28, 2008

I can't tell any difference between this and "real" mayo. I like the convenience of being able to squeeze it out instead of digging it out with a knife and getting it all over my fingers!
Best "Light" anything!Nov 17, 2008
By Katy Lake You can train your tastebuds to reject high fat food (really.) I just got used to not eating mayonnaise - too fattening.
I was absolutely shocked that Hellmann's Light Mayo tasted THAT good. To me - someone who doesn't eat butter, etc. - Hellman's Light tasted every bit as good as the mayo I remembered as a kid.
If you want to save calories and cut back on the fat, but still have the creamy, rich, yummy taste of a high-fat food, Hellmann's Light is THE best of the lot, bar none!
