Misleading statement regarding manufacture of productNov 07, 2010

We were purchasing Hollywood Safflower Oil, 32 Ounce Bottles (Pack of 4) vis subscription for several months, for $18.83. This past week we received a notice from Amazon that this product was no longer manufactured. We then called the manufacturer, and they stated that they, in fact, still manufacture this product. We now see that Amazon is now trying to sell this product (Pack of 4) for about $40 (includes shippping of over $10), or more than twice the previous subscripton price. It appears that Amazon's statement that this product was no longer manufactured was not true. We are very concerned that Amazon would provide such a misleading statement regarding the status of this product.
