It was just what I was looking for to roll my cookies in before baking. It stays crunchy and looks great - it doesn't melt into the dough when cooked. Fortunately it doesn't have an expiration date because it's a lot of sugar!

This really is great sugar for using in all your holiday cookies. I highly recommend it. The company also makes lots of other colors. Be aware though, these are large jars and you have to buy 2.

You will be happy with this product. I use it on cakes and cookies--- love sparkle and this does it. Such a great deal over buying at the grocery store in tiny quantities-- if you can even find it! I agree with another customer who rated this-- wish I could have it in every color.

First of all, this brand of sparkling sugar is supreme. It really is the best. The sugar truly sparkles and stays nice & crunchy after baking. I use it for so many different things: muffins, on top of royal icing on decorated cookies, on spritz cookies, cupcakes, shortbread. I'm sure there are many other uses. But the best thing is, this amount of sugar for this price is such a steal!! I recently bought a small 7.5 oz jar of this same sugar and went through it with a double batch of spritz cookies. And that 7.5 oz jar cost me $7.00!! Ridiculous! But I needed the sugar in a hurry so I paid the price. And the fact that Amazon will send you TWO of these containers for around $30.00 is just plain incredible!! I wish I could afford to purchase every single color of sparkling sugar that India Tree makes in these huge containers but that would add up to a lot of money. One color a payday maybe???

I have been hooked on crystal sugar like this ever since I used it when I worked for a bakery and we put it on scones, shortbread, and a few other things.
This sugar has large crystals, so it still has a nice crunch after being baked and adds visual appeal to the top of baked goods.
I looked around quite a bit and this was the best deal I could find on this kind of sugar.
