Dying after 6 weeks.Dec 06, 2010
By Lori M I bought these at my favorite computer store for $5 and they weren't even worth that as my old speakers still functioned if I taped the power button down. Yes, this is how bad the Inland Pro Sound 2000 is, I'd rather still have speakers that I would have to rig. They worked great for roughly 6 weeks. Now the sound cuts out from one or the other speakers, but it sometimes comes back if I a) tap the speaker or b) move the wires.
UPDATE - Less than 12 hours after I posted this, I now can only get sound to work in one speaker at a time. Utterly useless.

not made for music..Aug 24, 2010
By mixology lacks low frequencies... cheap speakers that are good for other things that don't involve enjoying the full sound of music.
Actual volume!!Jan 11, 2012
By Lanty I've tried many pairs of inexpensive speakers and they always fall short on volume or clarity. These are different. They have plenty of volume out in my workshop and the clarity is acceptable too for my uses.
Pure GarbageMar 26, 2011
By Founding Father They came broken... This is my second set of PC speakers from Amazon... First set were Logitec...They were broken also. They played out the right speaker only... This pile of junk has a broken power cord... Plugged them in and turned them on and nothing... a little poking around and if I hold the cord just right they power on... Buy your speakers at Office Max or WalMart. Now I have to wait again for new speakers...I wonder if they sell refurbs "as new"..?
Good little speakers for internet useFeb 06, 2010
By Betmatrho I needed speakers - I don't listen to a lot of music or movies with them online, so for my use they work just fine. The sound is clear and good volume control. About the only thing I had to get used to was the stubby volume control button - was used to a longer one, which is easier to grab hold of - but I would recommend these speakers for just general Internet use.
