Halvah is an acquired taste, but once you've acquired it, there is nothing better than Joyvah Halvah.

Since moving to middle Georgia,I cannot find many ethnic (read Jewish) foods. Granted, a whole BOX of halvah is a bit much even for me, I find one every few days most enjoyable. It tastes just as I remember it, growing up in Chicago!

I usually buy Joyva Halva directly from the Mfr at [...] but bought from Amazon this time to save $[...] with Free-shipping. I think the product had been stored at too warm a temperature because all the bars were deformed and gooey. They still tasted o.k., but from now on I will pay the extra price and get them directly from [...]. Maybe I'll try Amazon again in the future to see if they learned to store the product properly.

I have had Joyva Halvah before and it was a lot better than this batch. Slightly dry with very minimal halvah taste compared to what I have had in the past. Has Joyva chaged their recipe? If so, please change it back or I will buy no more.
