I received an ice cream maker for Mother's Day, and home made ice cream is so much better than store bought. This mix makes it even better tasting and easier, although it makes your home made ice cream cost as much as store bought. If you're making your own ice cream to save money, skip this and get the Ben and Jerry recipe book. If what you want is easy and consistently delicious, get this. You just add whole milk and a can of sweetened condensed milk, although I also add some honey and sometimes half and half instead of whole milk.
We have a big ice cream maker, it makes a whole gallon, and one packet of this stuff is enough, all other mixes we need at least two and maybe more. We love all the flavors of this mix, but strawberry is the kids' favorite.
