Awesome Gift SetDec 27, 2008

I bought this as a gift from my gold box and was so pleasantly surprised when I received it.
The products are all full-sized and the presentation is perfect. I really think it's a great selection of products and I was proud to give it as a gift. I love the fact that it's not your typical gift box, with goodies that people will actually use and enjoy.
I've actually had some of of the Knott's Berry Farm jams and syrups in the past, so I am confident it's good quality too. I will come back and update at a later date after I've had feedback as to how the recipient of this gift enjoyed the food inside.
I actually plan on buying a few more, one for me and a few to keep to give as gifts. It's a gift you can feel proud to give for a great price.
Edited to add: I got feedback from the gift recipient and they said the pancake mix made the best pancakes they ever had and the preserves were delicious. The syrup was on the strong side and a little too sweet. They hadn't tried the biscuit mix yet.

I have to say, when I ordered this I did not expect the package to be as nice as it is and the products are full size, much larger than anticipated. The presentation is lovely on this! While I haven't had a chance to try out the mixes yet, I can't wait to give it a whirl, but I have to give it to the recipient first :)
I will update once I've tried the jelly/syrup and mixes. I know this is going to be a big hit for the intended recipient.

I was thinking through the best gifts for the kids teachers, etc... for this coming Holiday Season. I ran across this item and figured it was perfect. Times are tough around the country, so I really didn't want to get them a Starbucks Gift Certificate worth 3 fancy cups of joe, so I landed on this item. The packaging is nice, the product looks like it is higher end, and it can go a ways with all the different components of the kit. Great value for a $15 gift!

I bought this gift set at a local big box store about 3 years ago, and have not seen it in that or any other stores since then - why??? It's the PERFECT breakfast gift set, and the biscuit mix is sheer heaven!
The biscuits are the best quality from a dry mix that I've ever eaten in my life. Tender, moist, great flavor...I've never had better biscuits, ever. The preserves and syrup are of great quality as well - as we've come to expect from Knotts Berry Farm products. The pancake mix was good - just not as fantastic as the biscuit mix.
If I can't find this gift set, or at least the biscuit mix anywhere, I'm going to end up going to the Knotts Berry Farm website to get it!

I gave this as part of a Christmas present to my parents, who don't really need anything, but of course have to eat! The box and presentation were so beautiful it didn't need to be wrapped- I just put a bow on it. They loved it and said it tasted wonderful. I think it makes a great gift!
