Perhaps there is too much yeast extract in it; I don't know if it is common to add yeast extract to olive spread, but I didn't care for this at all.

I love olive paste, and La Piana does not disappoint. The only improvement in the product I could recommend is making the grind finer--currently it's a bit on the chunky side. In my experience, a finer grind produces a better taste.
