 Why can't I find Havana Garlic and Lime in stores?Jan 15, 2007

This is the best of the Lawry's marinades. Great for chicken and seafood. Very flavorful. Lots of garlic mellowed by lime. I used to get it all the time in supermarkets. Lately this is the only place I can find it. Buying 6 bottles at a time is not a problem since I use it so often.

I put a large pork roast in my crock pot, bathe it in this marinade, dilute it a bit with chicken stock and let it cook all day. I add either small gourmet potatoes or sauerkraut 2 hrs before its done. WOW !

My favorite marinade from Lawry's. I let a steak marinade in this overnight. Cooked it the next day outside on the charcoal grill. It was the best steak I ever had.
I bought it in the store and now can't find it. Guess I'll have to get it here.
I just read at the Lawry's site:
This product will be discontinued January 2, 2012. :-(

I have only found this flavor of marinade here on Amazon, and we love it! It has a wonderful garlic flavor with just the right amount of lime (so it is not overwhelming). We have used it on chicken and pork chops, and it is now one of our favorite marinades.

Have been unable to find all the great aspects of this product. It is acceptable and in my case only rates a 3.5 Stars at best. Used it on fish, chicken with no outstanding results. Average and that is, okey? Will not buy it again for I believe there are better options but for now they will be used, one way or the other. By they I mean 6 bottles (we are down to 4). Happy eating!
