Has gone badMar 04, 2010

This was a great idea, but I think the batch we got had gone bad, or else it never tasted good. I ruined a whole batch of scones with this- as I sprinkled it on top. The sugar was bitter and nasty tasting. Maybe I used it wrong, but if I did, I'm not sure how you are supposed to use it. The lemon rind is beige and twig-like. I could not find a date on this (a sell by date, or a manufacture date) s0 I can't swear it's old- but I can attest to it being bad.
