I ordered a case of these and found that there were like 3 broken shells in many of the packages. There was no damage to the shipping box however, so I assumed that they are pretty fragile. Get this: I emailed Amazon about the problem and they said they don't take returns on groceries, but would send me another case for free (overnight!)and that I could go ahead and keep the one I had.

These are much lighter in texture than commercial brands (like Old El Paso or Ortega), and they are crispy and have a fresh corn taste. Love the Little Bear Tostada shells, too.

we love the shells. tacos are a frequently requested meal in my house. no one has complained about these shells & everyone likes that these are slightly square on the bottom so they are easier to stand on a plate

With so much uncertainty about the quality of corn, ETC. in our supermarkets (watch an excellent documentary called "King Corn") I'm so happy to be able to buy these great little taco shells from Amazon. They're delicious and they heat and brown very slightly in the oven VERY quickly,so, if you forget they're in there for more than a very tiny bit of time you'll wreck them and have to try again. Pay close attention and they'll come out perfect every time! Couldn't be more pleased with these, but, I have one question. What's the deal about never being able to find soft corn tortillas in the main markets in organic form. If they ever have anything, it's just the hard shells. I don't get it.
