5Good garlic kick!Dec 05, 2010
By Amazon Customer
Oh! So Garlic! will offer a well rounded garlic kick to whatever you are cooking. One of our favorite ways to use this seasoning is to add a good shake of Oh! So Garlic! to 2 tablespoons light butter. Let stand a few minutes. Saute some chicken breast tenders (unbreaded) and then spoon the butter mixture over the tenders. Stir gently to glaze the chicken tenders with Oh! So Garlic! goodness.

Highly recommend.

5Agreed, it's a great "go to" mixed spice...Oct 02, 2009
By Jordan Roberts
Works for almost anything you can imagine in your recipes and doesn't have that "old" garlic odor like many garlic seasonings. Folks who enjoy cooking know what I mean by that. This smells more like you would find at a local farmer's market. IMO, all of Lizzie's spice combinations are worth trying. For my personal directions, just smell them when you open the top (and while you are cooking and creating something sniff a few) and you will know what to do with them. Nice fresh smells. The salsa verde and pico de gallo are particularly good for summer seasonings w/ a variety of foods. The hickory garlic is great for making your own barbeque sauce and using while grilling. The ones I have purchased have been very fresh and I am always finding new ways to use them. Lizzie's spices have been a wonderful find for me. I hope they stay as fresh as I have found them to be.

5My 'secret ingredient'Jul 07, 2009
By Grandma GG
Oh! so Garlic is my go-to spice. I add it to every pasta dish in my repertoire, meatloaf, guacamole, egg dishes - everything that can be improved with garlic becomes even better with this spice blend from Lizzie's Kitchen. For soups, sauces, or bean dishes, I add it to the pan just as the meat has almost completed browning, and just prior to adding the liquid. Amazon has the best price I've seen. Right now, it comes in a pack of 4 which seems like a lot if you've never used it. But I promise, once you've tried it you will keep coming back for more.

5Best For making Garlic Bread fast!Oct 18, 2012
By Drea
I use this Oh so Garlic for everything. When marinating/cooking steaks, chicken, fish etc. I originally bought it because it was salt free. This seasoning can be used for everyone! And, for every dish you use garlic! I just found a new use for it. sprinkle it over bread and butter and toast/top brown in toaster oven. (add a little grated cheese if you like) and you have the best garlic bread ever. Great with a bowl of soup or pasta. Countless uses for this seasoning. I am extremely upset with safeway/vons for discontinuing this item! Their loss!

5Great for Low Sodium DietsJun 13, 2010
By Constance Ericson
My doctor said cut down on the salt so I went in search of seasonings without sodium. I found Oh! So Garlic! I have found that it does not work very well without some sort of heating/cooking with moisture and it also doesn't work real well if you heat it too high -- you will get a bitter taste. Aside from that, it adds a delicious flavor to many foods.

One of my favorite ways to use it is to sprinkle flattened chicken breasts (about 1 lb) with a generous coating, saute breasts in a skillet in olive oil for 5-7 minutes each side over medium heat; set aside chicken. Combine 1/2 cup no-sodium chicken broth, 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar and 1 Tablespoon chopped garlic. Stir into chicken bits in skillet and stir until liquid is reduced so a syrupy texture. Pour over chicken breasts and serve.
