All natural, with pineapple and coconut. 2004 FMI Show Retailer Choice Award. Makes 16 4 oz servings or 1/2 gallon (about 2 liters). The Lieutenant Blender Story: It was back in the days when Lt. Blender was making those secret jumps into Latin America. This was one of those times when he got blown off course into Costa Rica high in the mountains. He knew he would have to walk out. After half a day he found a local bar. He ordered aqua. No aqua, the bartender said, Pina. Ok Blender agreed. Fast as lightning, the bartender poured a jigger of rum, cream of coconut and some pineapple juice - fill with ice and pushed it to the blender. Down it went. Another, said Blender. What d'ya call that? The bartender ignored him and gave him another. And, then, another. Bender never said much about what happened after that. But later he found the words Pina colada printed on his shirt sleeve. Pina Colada, he thought to himself. And vowed never to jump without it again. But he knew there was no way to pack along bottles of rum and cream of coconut and pineapple juice. So he invented Lt. Blender's Pina Colada mix. (Our all natural mix has no preservatives, so it may get lumpy, but does not affect quality. Just let liquor soak for a few minutes.) We asked the Army to review this so we wouldn't be giving away anything. They said all they'd do is add a slice of pineapple to the Pina Colada as a garnish. Think outside the blender. Easy to freeze - fits into the most packed freezer! Portable - take it anywhere, slip in your backpack, cooler or even briefcase! All natural - made with real pineapple and coconut - the most awesome Pina Colada you've ever had! and best of all, better than made from scratch - Lt. Bender's award-winning and all-natural mixes taste as good as made from scratch, but without the guesswork, blender and mess!. Made in the USA. | | | Features: | |

Great summer beverage!May 10, 2010
By Lisa T This pina colada is the first Lt. Blender's product that I've tried, but it won't be the last! I love the concept of the freezable pouch. In the past, there have been times where I have wanted a frozen drink but did not feel like going through the process of shaving ice, cleaning out the blender, etc. Now this is no longer an issue. I can freeze it in advance and take it to parties, or I can keep the whole pouch for myself and have a drink ready anytime I want. Not to mention that the results are always consistent, unlike blender versions where your results may vary unless you measure every time.
These drinks are best consumed soon after freezing. I left my pouch in the freezer, and it was nice and slushy the first day, but on the 2nd day it was considerably more solid. This was easily remedied by running warm water on the outside of the bag for a couple of minutes. But don't try to manually break up the frozen product, as I initially tried to do. I ended up making a tiny hole near the top of the pouch.
Note: I did use 2 cups of rum rather than the 1.5 cups that was suggested. I also used coconut rum and added 1/2 cup of pineapple juice to my bag (substitute for some water, not added to the water). The end result tasted as good as a drink made from fresh pineapple and real cream. It was very tasty and I look forward to trying some of the other flavors. I'm glad Amazon has them in stock with free shipping. This is the best price I have found online.
Pina Colada In A BagOct 15, 2011
By Bob If you like Pina Colada's, you'll love this product. I found it by mistake and have been using it ever since. You add rum (I use Malibu for the coconut flavor) to the rum line. Then add water to the water line, shake and freeze. I make about 2 or 3 bags in advance and leave them in the freezer. When guests come over it takes about an hour or two and the drinks are ready. I only wish I could buy this product locally.

Delicious and Fattening!Dec 15, 2011

This is a good product. Great for outdoor events. Convenient to mix and take with you anywhere, but WOW it's loaded with calories. Though most delicious spirited drinks are, this mix is just exceptionally loaded. (At least 500 calories, most likely more, per glass.) Watch out if you are watching your weight.
You can mix to taste, and it stores in the freezer well. Enjoy but know each drink requires an hour on the treadmill.... I will stick to a crisp, summer glass of wine.
