Excellent Dried PlumsJan 16, 2011
By Sir Readsalot
"Johnson"
I was buying these at my local health store for almost $5 a bag. I had not looked for food on Amazon until recently and found the same dried plums for $3 a bag.
I have been through 3 bags so far and I will be ordering more soon as they are the same product I was getting for more money.
If you have not had any "Made in Nature" products I highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys real dried fruits. This are tree ripened so there is a variation in each fruit. I love that about this particular maker: the diversity of the fruit. It is what real dried fruit should taste like. I would also suggest this makers dried figs. One word: excellent. These are the best darned dried plums I have ever had. Buy them now and thank me later.

A plum of a dealMay 03, 2010
By J. Calhoun Otherwise known as prunes, dried plums are one of the very best foods there are, for anti-oxidant value. These are very tasty, and you don't have to worry about any undesirable or even unintentioned bad things being in there. Even my wife, who is a junk food junkie if there ever was one, likes them! Having 6 oz.re-sealable bags mean they stay fresh (vs. using 16 Oz. box). There is no down side here. Even as a very severe diabetic, I have no problem with them.

Healthy and DeliciousJul 01, 2009
By P. Gordon This is the first time I've tried these organic plums and they are the perfect healthy snack to keep by my computer at work. They're moist and flavorful, and we don't have to worry about chemicals or sulfur because they're organic. My 6 year old daughter loves them too and I'm happy to see her getting more fiber in her diet. We like to cut them into pieces and top salads and cereals with them or eat them alone. I highly recommend them.

Tasty in oatmealSep 12, 2010
By L. Tesler I have only tried one bag of these organic prunes.
They taste best to me in home-cooked oatmeal. I add a couple to the pot before or during the 5-minute simmer. Boiling brings out the flavor and softens them up.
Because they are dry to the touch, they don't make my fingers sticky like Newman's Own Organics California Prunes, Pitted, 12-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 6). But they cost more per ounce than Newman's and their flavor when dry is not nearly as intense.

good tasteNov 19, 2009
By Ronald Fisher My wife and I have been eating these for over a year and really like them. We slightly prefer them to Newman's Own, but of course that's personal taste.
