Don't Like to be a Complainer - but, not effective on Bosch refrig.Oct 16, 2010

I recently purchased a Bosch refrigerator with stainless steel finish. I purchased a container of these Magic Stainless Steel Cleaning Cloths. I used two of the cloths to try to clean one door of my double door refrigerator. The door looked worse than when I started. I tried more cloths and dried down surface right away with paper towels. I did clean and dry while moving the cloth and paper towel with the grain of the stainless steel. It still looked as bad. It removes the fingerprints and such, but it leaves extreme streaking. It is bemusing that it could look so bad after a cleaning. I don't know if it would work for any other brand of stainless steel surfaced appliance, but on the Bosch it failed to work.

This is the most gosh aweful cleaner. Streaks like crazy. If you're looking for a GREAT stainless steel cleaner, this product is awesome (I've been using it for years on all types of stainless steel refrigerators):

This product is terrible. you might as well try to clean your stainless steel with vegetable shortening, I think it would leave less streaks. did they even test this product on stainless steel before they started marketing it?

This product doesn't even deserve one star. I have used other stainless cleaners, most recently Cerama Bryte which worked just fine. When I went back to Home Depot they didn't have that product anymore so I ended up getting the Magic Stainless Steel Wipes. Total garbage, they are the worst, streaks like I have never seen before. I think I will bring them back to Home Depot and let them use them on there display refrigerators so they realize how bad they really are.

I had to chime in on this product. The fact that the label says "streak free shine" is very amusing. It leaves very large visible streaks. I tried rubbing hard and then gently. Nothing worked. It did remove finger prints but left something much more visible in their place.
