Fresh, coarse ground pepper at a great priceJan 06, 2011

With our large family, I'm always looking for a bargain and food in large containers. McCormick's spices have always been a part of my kitchen and I was delighted to find this product sold in two 1-pound containers with free Super Saver shipping.
The pepper itself is coarsely ground, which gives a nice peppery bite to foods. We prefer it to finely ground pepper. There are no additives or preservatives added, which is something I look for in all foods.
I fill my smaller pepper containers (at the table at at the stove) from these larger ones. I keep the second container in a zip lock bag in my freezer, to maintain freshness until I'm ready to use it.

It's pepper, it's good, it's cheap.Jun 28, 2011
By just a person Good bargain for a good quality product. I don't think the grain size is the problem some people think it is.

grnd coarse blk pepperJun 05, 2008
By germarican55 The 16-oz unit of Ground black coarse pepper was fresh and arrived well. The double pack however is too much for one household, recommend it be sold in single 16-oz units.
