By timone46 disappointing-really dry-won't buy again :( I ordered this bread based on the reviews. I guess I do not share the same opinion as the reviews did.

Real pumpernickel (the same that you get in Germany) delivered in sealed packages fast and fresh. What a real pleasure!
Delicious and heartyDec 25, 2011
By SisToAll I received a small package of this bread as a gift, along with a small package of brie. The bread is hearty with a sourdough flavor (which I love). It was delicious toasted with butter or margarine or especially with the brie. We liked it so much, I searched Amazon.com for it. I can hardly wait to try it with smoked salmon!
