Best syrup out there in my experience!Oct 21, 2009

I have the same things to say as the previous reviewer. Accidentally bought Monin locally once and was *ASTOUNDED* at the difference in quality between it and Torani. Comparatively speaking, you might as well mix up hfcs and water rather than buy Torani. I feel so strongly on this topic that I'll simply walk out of a coffee shop if they use Torani as I feel it shows a lack of dilligence.
That stated, I happily recommend Monin for syrup to anyone who asks. I only use the vanilla myself, and at that only for my wife's vanilla lattes, so I can't speak to their other syrups.
Regarding the packaging/shipping, Amazon did a great job shipping it out and shipping was of course free (as long as you're ok with a 4-pack). The bottles are the plastick 33.8oz size rather than the smaller glass bottles, but I just refill my existing glass bottle.

Monin syrup is my favorite, much better than Torini.
***NOTE*** Be aware that these are plastic bottles. Monin typically comes in glass bottles but these are plastic.

"Live Free or Die"
This may seem redundant for being another "best Vanilla Syrup" review, but there it is.. this is simply the best vanilla syrup I've ever had. It's perfectly smooth, not too sweet, not too strong, in other words.. "Just right."
It makes the absolute best vanilla coffee (espresso milk drinks; lattes/cappuccinos) that your home barista wallet can buy. I've tried Torani's syrups, as well as a few others. Hands down, Monina Vanilla is the best. These bottles last a while, you don't need too much to flavor a drink, but the syrup is thick enough that you will run dry if you overkill with your flavoring.

I've been getting the Torani syrup for Starbuck's-style coffee drinks. The Torani has certainly been "good enough" for me, but over time my wife got to the point where she did not care for it at all. The fact that my wife didn't care for it didn't bother me that much, as she's relatively picky.
Recently, when I ran low on the Torani syrup and decided to reorder again, I decided to buy the Monin, just to try it. Wow! It is remarkably better than the Torani. I asked my wife to try "a new version" of the same thing I always made with Torani and she liked it. In fact, she's been asking me to make her another one *every day*. So, I guess there is a downside: It's created more work for me as I now make my wife's coffee drinks!
I highly recommend this syrup.

The fact that this syrup is made from Real vanilla makes all the difference. Compared to other vanilla syrups such as what is available from Starbucks there is no comparison. this vanilla syrup has a unique taste that complements Lattes and vanilla milk etc. after exchanging this syrup for my other vanilla syrups, my family immediately noticed the difference. They became HUGE fans.
